Can supermarket stops be arranged?

Unfortunately we cannot permit a stop at a supermarket going towards your ski resort.

What happens if the weather is very bad?

In the Rhone Alpes of France, the weather can get very bad. We may experience heavy snow-fall and very cold temperatures making driving conditions difficult. Our vehicles are equipped with ‘winter’ tyres and each have sets of snow chains. If you are experiencing extreme weather conditions just before your return journey, please contact us so that we can organize your pick up as efficiently as possible.

How will I find my driver at the airport?

Once you have collected your luggage and made your way into the public ‘Arrivals’ area, your personal driver will be waiting for you there. He will be holding a name-board with you name written on it.

How do I know which time to be picked up at in resort for my return journey?

We will propose and arrange a pick up time for your return journey back to the airport. We will calculate the average time your journey will take and aim is to get you to the airport at the start of your check-in time. Of course, we do add extra traveling time on Saturdays and periods of heavy traffic flow. If our clients have a pick up time preference, they must contact us at least 3 days in advance of traveling to inform us.

Do you have child seats available?

If you should need baby seats or booster seats, please let us know at the time of booking and we will provide them to you free of charge.

What do we do if our flight times change?

If your flight times change at all, please inform us at the soonest possible moment as it is very important for us to create our daily schedules!

Will there be other groups of passengers traveling with us?

Snowdrop Transfers strictly provides ‘private’ ski transfers. The term ‘private’ means that your group will have the sole use of the vehicle and there will be no other group(s) joining you in your vehicle. This means that you will not be waiting around at the airport for other groups to arrive, your chauffeur will take you to your vehicle at the soonest possible moment and you will be driven directly to your destination.

Do you know where our chalet/hotel is?

We research our destination chalets and hotels before we pick up our clients. However, even with our excellent knowledge of the French ski resorts and our research, there are times (very rare) when we may need a contact telephone number for your chalet or hotel. Please bring your accommodation contact numbers with you and we will contact them to find out the exact location you are going to.

Will there be enough room in the vehicle for our luggage and our ski equipment?

We operate with vehicles which are big enough for our passengers, their luggage and their ski equipment. We realize that on a ski holiday you will have lots of belongings to bring with you, so we use adapted vehicles to suit our client’s needs.

Can we arrange to pick up our accommodation key on the way to our destination?

Yes. We can schedule a stop on the way to your destination to pick up youraccommodation key. We must be informed of this ‘key-stop’ at the time of booking.
