Saturdays at Geneva Airport

During the winter ski season, the Geneva Airport can get very busy with all the skiers arriving on their holidays – especially on Saturdays!

After you have retrieved your luggage and skis and made your way into the ‘Arrivals’ area, travelers are normally greeted by a large group of awaiting chauffeurs and other travelers. The Arrivals may seem a little chaotic when you first enter the area, but you will be able to locate your Snowdrop Transfers chauffeur easily. He will be waiting at the ‘Airport Information’ desk holding a name-board with your surname on it. He will then take you away from the Arrivals area to your reserved vehicle.

On Saturdays and Sundays, the Geneva Airport insists that all the minibuses into a assigned car park situated beside the Geneva Airport Train Station (approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the Arrivals area). The Airport does not permit the ‘picking up’ of passengers near to the front entrances of the building and is heavily controlled by the Police.

However, once you’ve reached your Snowdrop Transfers vehicle and loaded it with your luggage, it takes a matter of minutes to exit the Airport, get onto the motorway and cross the French border.
