La Tania

The village of La Tania was created in 1990 for the 1992 Albertville winter Olympic Games. The resort is at 1400 metres altitude and is situated between the larger resorts of Courchevel and Meribel. Like Courchevel and Meribel, La Tania is also a part of the ‘3 valleys’ skiing domain – the largest skiing domain in the world.

Within the cosy resort of La Tania there are a number of classic ‘savoyard’ wooden chalets, a couple of hotels, a selection of restaurants, sport shops, bars, a bakery, a newsagent and a supermarket. This picturesque and ‘petit’ village has been built on the edge of a forest and has some amazing mountain views.

From the La Tania ski resort, the closest airport is the Chambery airport and entails a journey time of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Journey from each of the other regional airports are estimated with a travelling time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, this includes Geneva airport, Grenoble airport and Lyon airport.

For return transfers back to the airport, we calculate your journey so that you arrive at the airport approximately when your ‘check-in’ opens.
